We were not the only ones to come to Seattle.
glimpse of downtown Seattle
The New York Yankees arrived for a 4-game series against the  Mariners. So Saturday, Skip and I were among many other New York fans at Safeco Field. With Andy Petitte starting and Mariano Rivera closing, Skip says it doesn't get any better. Fun day. Yankees won - crowd was great.

We are staying at the Maple Grove RV Resort in Everett, WA. It is about 20 miles outside of Seattle. It is one of the few campgrounds close to the city. It is not a bad drive in. Went to Pike's Place Market. This is where Starbucks started, fish are flying, and plenty of vendors for you to choose from.

Also on boardwalk is Seattle's "Great Wheel".  Great views of Seattle and the Bay!
