We left Sunday morning heading west to Taos, New Mexico. At over 7,000 mile elevation, we want to get there before the snow does. The traffic was light on the major interstates through Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Only traffic backup we were in was on I-81 just before Harrisburg, PA. It seems horse got out of its trailer and was walking on the highway. Thank God - everyone was able to stop included truckers. Owner caught horse in the median. Was definitely a different way to hold up traffic.
Afterwards, continued into Virginia and spent the night in the Shenandoah Valley KOA campground.
