Have been busy travelling the past few days. After leaving Manchester, TN we headed west across Tennessee and pulled into Memphis for the night. On the highway, we saw a few caravans of bucket trucks heading north to assist those in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We stayed at Elvis Presley Campground which is at the end of Lonely Street behind the Heartbreak Hotel. We have stayed here before. If you are an Elvis fan, you'll enjoy it. Unfortunately, my camera is acting up so I cannot download any pictures. This has been a bummer.

As before, we ate at Marlowe's Barbecue. The restaurant will send a pink cadillac limo to pick you up and return you to wherever you are staying. We shared the limo to the restaurant with a couple from Ireland. They literally had just arrived. They were spending a few days in Memphis then heading to Las Vegas. Graceland is a big destination for Europeans. On our return from the restaurant, we shared the limo with two guys from Texas. They told us where to eat in Austin. The guys loved the idea of travelling around the United States. We mentioned that we were heading to Little Rock, Arkansas. Our limo driver suggested that we should go to Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is a nice town with the thermal baths.

So on leaving Memphis Friday morning, we headed to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Lots of farmland on the way. We pulled into Hot Springs KOA for a couple of nights.Took a ride into town. Cute little town. Saw where the baths & spas are located. We stopped for dinner at the The Brickhouse Grille. Excellent steaks. You could slice through them with a fork.

Today, we headed to the Quapaw Baths & Spa. This place has thermal water soaking pools. All water comes from the underground. Skip went dowstairs to their sauna. He said literally it was a cave and water runs down letting of steam. All you need to bring is your bathsuit and wear flip flops. I also had a foot massage therapy. Delightful!!!!

Had lunch across the street at Andrew's. This is New Orleans cuisine. I had creole sampler platter and Skip had the red rice and beans. Very good!!! The only bummer was that they were out of their beignets!!! My favorite dessert.

Thumper has been busy trying to catch rabbits. Rabbits are winning.

We plan on leaving tomorrow to visit Little Rock, Arkansas, then head to Louisianna
