We are in redwood and sasquatch country - about 200 miles or so north of San Francisco in Humbolt County. We pulled in for a couple of nights in Myers Flat at Giant Redwoods RV Park.
This campground in located on the scenic route (approx. 31 miles )known as the Avenue of the Giants. The campground is also located on the South Fork Eel River. Cleanest water we have ever seen. Thumper loved it here. Lots of sand to dig holes along the river.
There are lots of trails for hiking and great pull offs for visitors to stop and walk around these beautiful trees.
