We are still in Wall, SD. We have been driving through some of the various areas of the Badlands National Park. We went into the park early evening to see if any wildlife can be found and also to see the rock formations at sunset. In the park is an area called Roberts Prairie Dog town. We saw lots of prairie dogs sitting on top of their dirt mounds. Thumper went ballistic!!! She thought she could run around and make lots of new friends. These animals were her size.

Also went out to the Minuteman Missile Silo area. There is a tour of the Launch Control Facility but it was full, so we drove out to the location of the missile silo which is about 10 miles from launch control. There is one silo for tourists to look down into. Right next to it was a herd of cattle (looked like black angus to us) - pick out your roast, steak, or hamburger as we say.

Saw an add for Two Bit Steakhouse and Saloon and thought we should go for dinner. The restaurant is located in Quinn, SD - about 5 miles from Wall. GPS took us to a building that looked like a tractor repair shop. There were no signs outside or anywhere on the property. There were 3 doors. Skip went in and waived me to come in. We walked into the bar area - dads and kids sitting on bar stools. A patron told us to go through a side door by the bar which led to dining area. There were lots of tables and one other couple having dinner. We order prime rib and sirloin - one of the best we have had. By the time we left, there were about 8 more tables filled. We figured this must be a local place. Trust me, there are no signs!!!!!!!
